This is the equivalent scripture in Christianity to the Surangama Sutra, that of how to de with teh End of Times. The Mayans indicated that the end of time (according to their calendar) occured in 2012, so I think its vaguely appropriate to put this up for study.
I am Catholic in faith. While I am well versed in the Dharma, I consider myself Christian and thus you'll find I put up quite a bit of the Church Catholic's material up here. Remember that they were the "state religion" of all of Europe for over 1000 years. They had to be doing something right for this to happen as it did. I am not evangelizing for them, I think such would diminish The Church's stature, that you either know they are true or you don't. Just proud in the good way, I guess.
Book of Revelations
As always, I ask you to read the whole book. It is strange reading the Book of Revelation, it always gives me the impression of being a much larger book than it is, but a motivated reader can usually read and think about it over a weeks time. The symbolism in it is difficult to get thru but as far as a literary work goes, it is a most interesting read.
