The Surangama Sutra is the main Buddhist sutra (ie. scripture) dealing with what is called the Dharma-Ending Age or the destruction of all things including Truth itself. It proscribes certain preventative meassures, warning and cures to the people alive at the time of its happening.
When I see the bad economy, people talking strangely and acting strangely, I am moved to womder if the truths in this sutra are applicable to this time. I don't want to be alarmist but there are some strange things going on these days and I personally am looking for a cure.
I've never done so much work for so little results. My friends at the bar that I go to tell me stories about how they just can get their business right, that simple contacts (constuction) seem to grow to herculean proportions to complete and details eat at their bottom line, almost like little demons nibbling at the black ink.

I have no desire for Project Hera to become a New Age, intending more for it to be a general area for men, but I have an interest in things spiritual so if I post a lot in this area, please forgive, its just a personal interest of mine.
WHat is this formalized study, I've been talking about? People go to University and colledge for several years and get a degree; perhaps spiritual study could be the same way, even in our normal lives. There is a lot out there, and I think even Christians could look at things like this as literarily interesting and lead to a more well-rounded view on what is spiritual. Personal thoughts.
But as always, post back here with your thoughts and ideas. Read the whole thing if you get the chance. I know it will open doors in your mind that you will be glad that were opened.
